A CASACOR2024the largest and most important exhibition of architecture, interior design and landscaping in the Americas, takes place in several Brazilian capitals and brings together the main professionals in the sector to present creative environments full of meaning.
Each year, CASACOR offers a central theme that guides creations and reflections, and in 2024, the chosen concept was “From the present, the now”which invites us to reflect on the legacy we want to leave to the next generations, saving the ancestry and cultural heritage of the Brazilian people and deepening our cultural biodiversity.

CASACOR São Paulo: between modernism and new technologies
Opening the 2024 editions, the CASACOR São Paulowhich was held from May 21 to July 28 in the emblematic Conjunto Nacional on Avenida Paulista, brought together a space of 9,000 m² divided into 69 environmentsincluding apartments, lofts, gardens, as well as art and gastronomic installations.
Among the highlights of this edition are: presence of big names of architecture and design, such as Fernanda Marques, Brunete Fraccaroli and Léo Shehtman, who explored the theme of the year creatively in their projects. In addition, CASACOR São Paulo 2024 marked a record participation of Rio architectslike Gisele Taranto and Paola Ribeiro, expanding the cultural and regional diversity of the event.
Another strong point was the integration of new technologies into environments. LG, for example, presented home automation solutions integrating artificial intelligence in three environments designed by Nildo José, Leticia Nannetti and Fernanda Rubatino. Additionally, the exhibition reinforced the trend of bringing nature indoors, with lush landscaping in various environments, such as Alex Hanazaki’s garden, which offered a harmonious connection between indoors and outdoors.
CASACOR Rio de Janeiro: a legacy for the future
The 2024 edition of CASACOR Rio de Janeiro takes place in the iconic Fashion Mall, in São Conrado, occupying three floors of the shopping center, with a total of 48 environments designed by 68 professionalsbetween veterans and new talents. The event, which takes place from September 24 to November 24, offers a unique experience by transforming the place into a real fictitious “condominium”, with lofts, studios and spaces dedicated to leisure and conviviality.
In addition to exquisite conservation of environments, the theme reflects the legacy we want to leave for the future – in this way, the sustainability and coexistence with nature These are central pillars, explored in several projects.
One of the highlights of this edition is the project by architect Cadé Marino, who begins solo with “Estúdio Brisa do Norte”. Inspired by nature and the ancestors of the Amazon, the space incorporates natural elements such as tauari wood, combined with linear gardens that bring freshness to the environment. Another point that attracts attention is the 11-meter multifunctional bookcase, which runs throughout the studio, from the entrance to a large window overlooking the street.
CASACOR Bahia: ancestry on the agenda
A CASACOR Bahiawhich takes place from September 17 to November 6, celebrates ancestry and innovation. The event, organized at the Candeal space, located in a historic district of Salvador, highlights the importance of Bahian culture and its influences on architecture and interior design.
One of the highlights of the edition is the “O Canto de Gil” environment, designed by architect João Gabriel, which offers an immersive experience combining cultural references and elements of nature. The space, designed to reflect the musicality and cultural richness of the state, pays tribute to musician Gilberto Gil and incorporates sustainable materials and construction techniques that respect local tradition. With a palette of vibrant colors and organic shapes, the project is a true ode to Gil’s artistic heritage and the diversity of Bahia.
In addition to the inspiring environments, CASACOR Bahia also presents a program rich in cultural attractionswhich include musical performances, lectures and workshops. This integration of art and design promotes a dialogue on the importance of cultural memory and creativity in the contemporary context.
CASACOR Minas Gerais: history and memories in every space
A CASACOR Minas Gerais took place from July 26 to September 15 at Espaço 356, a new modern complex designed to be an entertainment venue combining fashion, art, gastronomy and sport.
In this edition, 62 projects were presented by renowned architects and designers, each reflecting on the importance of a space that is both functional and aesthetic. Environments range from lounges to gastronomic spaces, each exploring the concept of “living the city”.
One of the highlights is the “Dressing Room” by Luisa Mano, which celebrates the art of making clothes at home, integrating practical and aesthetic elements. Another striking environment is the “Living Bar” by Ana Luiza Araujo and Bruna Araujo, which combines the timeless elegance of stone with the naturalness of wood.
The organizers of CASACOR Minas Gerais emphasize the importance of creating spaces that not only highlight design, but also encourage reflection on how we interact with our cities. Eduardo Faleiro, director of CASACOR MG, highlights the engagement of architecture and design in the process of urban requalification, making environments more inclusive and functionally rich.
CASACOR Espírito Santo: the Brazilian soul
From September 25 to November 17, the CASACOR Espírito Santo takes place in Italo Brasileiro, in Vitória, and brings innovative concept of “co-ownership”Or 25 environments designed by 30 professionals celebrate the Brazilian soul.
One of the highlights is the “Conexão” space, by Romina Passos and Fabricia Nunes, which brings together art and sensitivity, promoting a dialogue between different forms of expression. The environment is a true immersion in local culture, where elements of contemporary art intertwine with the decoration, offering a unique experience to visitors.
In addition, the exhibition presents the participation of renowned architects and designers who seek to integrate sustainability and innovation into their projects. The idea is to create environments that not only beautify, but also dialogue with nature and promote harmonious coexistence between people and the space in which they live.
CASACOR Brasilia: inclusion and sustainability
A CASACOR Brazil will take place from August 15 to October 16, marking the third consecutive edition in the iconic Arena BRB Mané Garrincha and occupying two floors with a total of 7,600 m². In this 32nd edition, the exhibition presents 43 environments created by 71 professionalsin addition to more than 100 sponsors and supporters.

The environments of CASACOR Brasília are marked by use of natural and ecological materialsas well as handmade pieces and artwork from local designers. One of the highlights is the design of the CUCAN restaurant, by Luciana Canalli, which incorporates elements of Brasilia culture, such as cobogós and tiles. In addition, the “Praça do Mural Sonho de um Verão” space by Arielle Martins presents a panel with native species of the Cerrado, illustrating the strong connection with local identity.
CASACOR Brasília also stands out for its inclusive and sustainable approach. Accessibility has been expanded, allowing visually and hearing impaired people to enjoy the exhibition. Sustainability is a core value, with most environments using materials with an environmental seal and construction practices that minimize environmental impact.
CASACOR Paraná: new house
A CASACOR Paraná took place from June 4 to July 28, celebrating its 30th edition with a new headquarters at Shopping Pátio Batel, in Curitiba. This edition brought the concept of “Boutique house”which covered 34 environments designed by several renowned design and architecture professionals. The exhibition was curated by director Marina Nessi, who led guided tours for the public, promoting rich interaction with the environments and their design proposals.
Among the strong points, the outdoor spaces stand out with impressive landscapingoffering immersion in nature and providing inviting spaces for visitors. CASACOR Paraná also focused on harmony between internal and external environmentsemphasizing the connection with nature and sustainability.
The CASACOR Paraná awards were a special moment, rewarding the most outstanding projects in publishing. This celebration of design and architecture not only highlighted aesthetic innovations but also addressed contemporary issues such as sustainability and the creation of spaces promoting well-being.
CASACOR Pernambuco: tributes to local personalities
From September 14 to November 3, the CASACOR Pernambuco took a rich experience in design and architecture to the Recife district, one of the most historic places in the region. With 34 environments which vary between bedrooms, living rooms, kitchens, lofts and studios, the exhibition occupies almost 2,500 m² of Palais Italia and an adjacent building, offering total immersion in the concept of “home”.
In addition to the decorated environments, the Palazzo Itália has a top floor event spacewhich can be reserved for small gatherings, thus expanding the possibilities for interaction and cultural experience on site.
CASACOR Pernambuco 2024 also offers tributes to important figures of Pernambuco art and architecturesuch as the architect Janete Costa and the artist Montez Magno, in addition to celebrating the centenary of Abelardo da Hora.
