Casoca invited 12 architects and designers to participate in the virtual exhibition of the summer 2023 collection of the Buddemeyer and Casa Almeida brands. The challenge was show the different product possibilitiesthrough the interior design of a double bedroom. About the virtual exhibition
Participants received a briefing detailed on Buddemeyer Luxus duvets, exclusive to Casa Almeida stores. Among the main differentiators of the line are the selection of top quality raw materials, attention to global trends, quality, innovation, comfort and careful finishing of the pieces. Each participant chose 1 of the brand’s 12 quilt models to develop their proposal.
A character
A character (or hypothetical customer) Created to develop the project for this edition of the Virtual Exhibition, she is a person who appreciates spacious, unique and unusual environments. The requirement in the room was to create a sophisticated atmosphere: without savings, but without extremes and without refinement.
He is someone who has good taste in works of art, signed furniture and is attentive to new technologies. He likes well-lit and warm environments, making the house more welcoming.
The experience
Architect Renata Basques chose the Alcova quilt for her virtual exhibition proposal, favor comfort and good taste. For her, the experience was new and the challenge was to create a piece with a mixture of natural elements. Diego Morelli, also an urban architect, inspired the composition and shape of the quilt of your choiceor Gardella model: “We brought warmth and life through warm and sensory elements, expanding the customer experience.”
For the architect Tiago Queirogathe experience of producing an environment for a virtual exhibition from a quilt was very interestingsince, according to him, it is an element which “Most of the time, we wait until the end and choose based on the project. » The Memoá office also shares the same feeling of novelty, for the duo that makes up the office “Having a quilt as a starting point for the project was definitely new for both of us. We really liked the idea of a small accessory bringing a lot of personality ideas and concepts.” Architect Lau Venturelli also chose to start with the quilt, the Cappelini model, according to her “The choice of the quilt was intentional to bring the first ideas to the project. We chose it precisely with the aim of presenting a light and romantic environment.”

Memoá Arquitetos proposal: a clean Brazilian
The White Ferrieri quilt was the choice of Amanda Damha, the architect and designer says she let her feelings speak louder in the project, to produce something freer. “[…] I was inspired by nature, by the environment that soothes, welcomes, but is also useful, a new structure of life has emerged, environments are often multiple in everyday actions.
Amanda Damha’s proposal: organic modernity
The Contemporary Air office took inspiration from landscapes for his project using the Lorenza quilt: “Our proposal was to bring to this environment a space that conveys calm. The lighter tones and the predominance of wood form a neutral base that brings a welcoming and total peace.” The 84 Arquitetura office chose the name of its choice, and the Boho colchato guide your production: “The Boho style is characterized by the presence of natural elements, neutral tones, floral prints and a mixture of references ranging from romantic to contemporary styles. […] The floral bedspread brings delicacy and connects with natural plants, paintings and ornaments, and in combination with the signed furniture, highlights the client’s taste for music, literature, art and design.
Scandinavian and Japanese inspirations were also present in the challenge, in a fusion between its elements through the Japandi style: This is how the Teka Mesquita office approached the design of its environment. She used the Savoye quilt to bring the simplicity, organization and connection to nature so typical of this style. Architect Tatiana Spencer sought to convey modernity and sophistication through geometric shapes and flowers present on the quilt of your choice, Summer Coastal, bring the maximum embodiment of the project to meet the needs of the client. The Breville quilt was the choice of architect and urban planner Patty Coelho for her project, according to her “The atmosphere of comfort translated into the urban and contemporary environment brought a sophisticated and timeless result.”
